Our Farm, Our Promise: From Soil to Snack
We believe the best cashews come from the best soil, grown with care, and without shortcuts. This is the authentic journey of our 100% organic cashews and other farm-fresh produce.
We believe the best cashews come from the best soil, grown with care, and without shortcuts. This is the authentic journey of our 100% organic cashews and other farm-fresh produce.
The quality of our produce starts with the fertile land we cultivate. We use traditional, sustainable methods to prepare the soil, ensuring it is rich and healthy for all our crops.
Tending the Earth: Our team works diligently to prepare the beds, often by hand in the rich, muddy soil, ensuring every crop gets a perfect start. We also use a small power tiller for efficient bed preparation. * Essential Irrigation: You can see our drip irrigation pipes (black hoses) running across the farm, ensuring our plants get precisely the water they need, conserving resources in the true spirit of sustainable farming.
Our farm is a vibrant polyculture—we don’t just grow cashews. We grow a variety of crops together to naturally enrich the soil, deter pests, and create a healthy ecosystem, a practice known as intercropping.
A Natural Balance: Our cashew trees share the land with:
Areca Nut Palms (Supari): The video shows young areca nut palms being tended to, with small thatched sun shelters.
Turmeric & Ginger: You can clearly see the large, bright green leaves of these crops planted in neat rows. * Fruit Trees: The farm is home to other young trees like Mango, Guava, and a citrus plant (like a lime or orange).
Bamboo: Tall bamboo stands provide natural windbreaks and sustainable resources. * Cover Crops: The field is covered in grass and other plants, which help prevent soil erosion and naturally feed the soil, demonstrating an organic approach.
Our focus remains on delivering the highest quality cashews, picked only when they are perfectly ripe.
The Cashew Fruit: The cashew nut is attached to a fleshy, pear-shaped fruit called the cashew apple. We wait for the apple to mature and turn red or yellow before harvesting.
Harvesting Process: The cashews are typically hand-harvested after they drop, or are gently collected from the tree, ensuring only the best quality nuts are processed.
The people in the images are our heart and soul. Their dedicated, manual labor is what makes our operation truly organic and allows us to bypass harsh chemicals. We prioritize:
Organic Mulching: You can see layers of dried grass and straw (mulch) placed around the base of the trees. This is a vital organic practice that retains moisture, controls weeds, and slowly adds organic matter back into the soil.
Hands-On Care: From planting to weeding, our team ensures every plant is cared for with traditional, chemical-free methods.
